COVID-19 Update

With these difficult times the City of Edmonton is looking for ways they can help businesses and are in negotiations with the Federal and Provincial governments to see what assistance they can offer in the way of assistance through measures such as grants or tax breaks. They suggest talking with your landlord, bank and insurance company before considering temporary closures.

EFFECTIVE April 14, 2020.
The Association has a new Executive Director.
Effective January 1, 2014 Allan Schmidt has agreed to become the new executive Director. Many members have already met Allan as he called on all the businesses in the Association while conducting the Association membership survey last summer.

Our Security Patrol Company - Crime Deterrence Makes A Difference
BPS PROTECTIVE SERVICES K9 INC. is contracted to patrol the NorthWest Industrial Business Association area seven days a week. BPS Protective is easily identified by their black security vehicles, uniformed officers and K-9 partners.
The patrollers are encouraged to introduce themselves to members, so if you are working into the evening, you may meet our security service officers.
The patrollers will be checking members doors, windows and compound gates on each shift. Please ensure that emergency contact numbers are prominently displayed on your business premises.

Community Litter Clean-up
The Spring Clean-up has been postponed, hopefully we will be able to do this in June.
