With the decrease in traffic this is a good time to conduct road repairs. To report potholes on our roadways call the City of Edmonton pothole hot line at 311 and advise them of the location. You can also report potholes online at the City’s website: edmonton.ca/transportation/report_requests/report-a-pothole.aspx
We also hope to see a long awaited improvement project on 184 Street this summer. Hopefully with the lower traffic volumes this will be less disruptive. The City of Edmonton is also running a noxious weeds awareness campaign to remind Edmontonians about their role, and the City’s role, in managing these unwanted weeds. If you see an area that has noxious weeds such as Canada thistle or sow thistle, call the Weed Information and Reporting hotline at 311 with the location. We had excellent responses from the City Weed Control section last year and it has helped the Association maintain its appearance by preventing the spread of noxious weeds on our properties. Another appearance issue we have is litter on vacant property. The Association would like to be contacted with the location of unsightly vacant properties so we can initiate a clean-up. Please call Allan Schmidt, Executive Director at (780) 905-2322.
